OOO “Irkutsk Oil Company” attends subsoil users’ meeting in Yakutia

Representatives of OOO “Irkutsk Oil Company” attended a meeting on the implementation of environmental protection measures by subsoil users and reducing the environmental impact in the Mirninsky district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The meeting was chaired by Sakhamin Afanasyev, Minister of Environment, Nature Management and Forestry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Subsoil users spoke about measures taken to comply with environmental regulations and their socio-economic work in the district. The Minister thanked all companies for their consistent and comprehensive work on environmental protection. Afanasyev urged subsoil users to pay special attention to preparations for the upcoming fire season and ramp up awareness-raising among workers.
As part of his visit to the Mirninsky district, the minister also toured the Macchobinskoe oilfield. OOO “Irkutsk Oil Company” has been operating in the district for many years. It provides Sakhaneft with operator services for crude production at the Macchobinskoe oilfield.
