The health checkups are provided as part of the program “Children’s Health” implemented by the Fund and Ivano-Matryoninskaya Hospital since 2020 in the localities where Irkutsk Oil Company (INK) operates.

The checkups were delivered by such specialists as surgeon, trauma surgeon, neurologist, otolaryngologist, gastroenterologist, pediatrician and endocrinologist in various hospitals in the towns of the district. The next visit of the doctors is planned for September 2024, when medical advice will be provided to children in the Ust-Kutsky district.

“One of the problems of remote localities is a lack of specialized doctors. And it is difficult to travel to the regional center to get medical advice, especially for young patients. The Fund organizes trips of the Ivano-Matryoninskaya Children’s Hospital specialists, making high-quality medical services more accessible. In addition, we undertake travel expenses for patients’ round trip to Irkutsk to receive treatment, when needed,” said the Fund director Larisa Bogdalova.

Also, since 2020 INK has been supporting the periodical preventive health examination program for the local residents in the localities where it operates. Last year, the company supported the specialists of the Irkutsk Regional Children’s Hospital who conducted health checkups for children and adults in the Katangsky and Ust-Kutsky districts. Patients were able to receive medical advice free of charge; the doctors’ travel and accommodation expenses were covered by Irkutsk Oil Company.

Irkutsk Oil Company (INK) is an independent producer of raw hydrocarbons based in Eastern Siberia. Incorporated in 2000, the company engages in geological study, exploration and development of subsoil blocks in the Irkutsk Region, Krasnoyarsk Region and Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In 2023, INK joined the top 5 best employers in the fuel and energy sector and top 100 of Russia’s best employers according to the rating of HeadHunter.

INK – regional partner of international Remembrance Garden campaign Science Days festival attracted more than 1,300 visitors in Irkutsk, Ust-Kut, and Zheleznogorsk
